A weekly record of what the U.S. Mint actually did.

New releases, sell-outs, mintage figures, and pricing-grid changes — tracked, cited, and written in plain English. No buy/sell calls, no hype, just what happened and where we got it.

Who this is for

Coin Release Radar is built for U.S. coin and medal collectors who want to know what the U.S. Mint is doing without checking a catalog page every day: new-issue collectors tracking release dates and mintage caps, roll/bag collectors watching sell-out speed, Semiquincentennial (America's 250th) quarter and dollar completists, and numismatic-gold/platinum/silver buyers who want to know when the Mint's own pricing grid moves — without following spot gold themselves.

The voice: a librarian, not a salesperson

Every page and every email is concise, sourced, and free of hype. We report what a product's status is, what a figure was last week versus this week, and what the Mint's own pricing grid did — never a "buy now" or "this is a great investment" framing. If we don't have a real, cited source for something, we don't publish it.

How it's put together

Some of this is fully automated (Federal Register pricing notices, pulled live from a public government API). The rest — U.S. Mint release/sell-out/mintage data — is hand-curated every week from permitted secondary numismatic press, because usmint.gov itself blocks automated access outright. That's a real limitation and we say so plainly on the Sources & Coverage page rather than pretending otherwise.

See a real digest

This is a real, current digest — rendered from the same live, cited dataset and the same renderer every paid subscriber's email goes through, generated fresh each time this site is built. Not a mockup. Sections with nothing to report this week say so plainly, same as they would in your inbox.
